Come Unto Christ (For the Strength of Youth) FSY 2014

Emily had the wonderful opportunity to attend FSY this summer.  It was a week long youth conference.  The theme was "Come unto Christ."  It doesn't get better than that.  What a wonderful topic!

She loved it.  She had fun and learned lots.  I asked her to make a comment about it on this blog, but she declined.  You should have seen me grinning from ear to ear when she bore her testimony the Sunday after FSY.  Many of the youth did.  They are so awesome!

Our ward is the only English speaking ward.  All the rest of the 400 youth were German speakers.  The conference was all in German.  The ones who didn't speak German (which was about 7 youth from our ward) had a translator.  Isn't it amazing that you can go to a huge activity like this and still enjoy it...even though you don't speak the language?  It is held every 2 years.  Next time Ivan will be old enough to go - yeah!!
