London Trip: Part 13, Chinatown and Platform 9 3/4

We were really hungry after walking around the National Gallery and we decided to head off to Chinatown to find a bite to eat...

In the metro you find all kinds of hard-to-interpret signs and...not to mention...a slew of strange people!

The real question is - which restaurant should we choose?
Hmmm...there are so many.

Perhaps this is the winner...look at those delicious sea monsters in the window.  Ewww...did I say delicious??

I think it was the yellow flowers that convinced me.  Yes, it was a fantastic meal.  Sorry, but I was too busy enjoying my meal to take a picture.

We were greeted with loads of boxes on our way out.

Walking the streets of Chinatown.

Next time we'll try this one :o)

They even have Chinese casinos!

Tempting...but, no, we'll walk.

This temptation we fell to...a used bookstore!

Where is that metro station?

Oh! here it is :o)

and down, down, down we go....

and up, up, up we go....

to the train station where Platform 9 3/4 is.

See? here it is and here is a super duper long line that we couldn't bare the thought of waiting in so we took a side shot...well, a few side shots until the security guard shooed us and other "side shotters" away.

It really is a beautiful train station (even without Platform 9 3/4).

The holiday spirit is still lingering...nice touch, thanks.

The ceiling changes colors - wow!

In case you are ever in this train station, I want you to know that this is a great souvenir shop and is right around the corner from Platform 9 3/4 (I liked it better than the one at Harry Potter "world" London).  Of course, you may have a different opinion, but it is guaranteed to be at the very least awesome!
